This means that together we will have the opportunity to tell the stories of all the amazing children and youth we meet in Sierra Leone. And it also provides funds for our work in creating opportunities for these children and youth to engage in sports, pursue their dreams, and receive an education.
Together with DANIDA and DR, we will tell stories about sports and football, education, cities and dreams, and cool young people who surf the wild waves of West Africa. Girls who dream of becoming the best football players in the world. Girls who dream of being the IT experts when the computer breaks down.
If you are not already a member of FANT, join us here and support our work. It costs 200 kroner per year.
Ramasjang and Ultra will visit Sierra Leone, there will be educational programs in about 1,000 Danish schools, Danish children will send sports shoes to Sierra Leone, you can read about children and youth from Sierra Leone in the calendar with 24 doors, and much more.
Dreamtown, like FANT, is a small Danish organization working with children and youth in Sierra Leone. Their focus is mainly on education. We complement each other very well, and it’s actually the first time that two organizations are allowed to collaborate on the Developing Countries Calendar. We are really proud of that!
We will share more along the way – also follow us on our Instagram and Facebook!
And you can read more about the Developing Countries Calendar and our project on the website Globalnyt.dk.
