WHAT PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT, AND WHY WE COLLECT IT

Fant membership

To be a member of Fant, we need the following personal information:

  • Name
  • Phone number
  • E-mail address

Fant uses external data processors, whom all adhere to the new European rules for protection and managing of data (General Data Protection Regulation), with the purpose of executing our member registration adequately. When you sign up as a member of Fant, you directly sign up to our data processor, DonorBox. When you are registered you receive an e-mail from DonorBrox in which you can register your own account that you subsequently can use to access and follow your payments or unsubscribe. DonorBox adhere to the new European rules for protection and managing of data (General Data Protection Regulatiom).

We use Stripe as data processor for our payment services. Stripe adhere to the new European rules for protection and managing of data (General Data Protection Regulatiom). Your credit card information is transported from DonorBox to Stripe through encrypted SSL certified connection which neither Fant, DonorBox, or any other than Stripe can access. When we collect personal information through our website, we always make sure that it happens with your consent. In that way, you are always informed exactly which type of information and data we have and why.

We never pass on or disclose your data to third parties. We do not delete your information unless you cancel your subscription through your DonorBox profile or asks us to in writing.

Newsletter

To receive Fant’s newsletter, we require the following information:

  • Name
  • E-mail

We collect your e-mail during the member registration process or through a registration form on the website.  Provided that you have signed up for our news letter, you will receive an email 3 to 5 times a year with news about Fant. Your information will not be distributed to a third party.

We use MailChimp as our email-marketing platform. MailChimp adhere to the new European rules for protection and managing of data (General Data Protection Regulation). You can always see their privacy policy. You can always unsubscribe, if you no longer want to receive our newsletter through the link in the bottom of our newsletter, or by contacting us at fant@fant.dk.

Comments

To write comments in the comment section on the website, we need the following information:

  • Name
  • E-mail

When visitors write comments on the webpage, we collect the data that are shown in the comment form as well as the visitor’s IP-address and the user of the browser to help identifying spam. We use Askimet to screen comments that reflect spam. See Askimet’s privacy policy.

After the acceptance of your comment, your profile picture a long with your comment will be public.

If you wish to delete your comment, we ask you to contact us at mette@fant.dk.

Contact forms

To use our contact form, we require the following information:

  • Name
  • Email

We use Contact Form 7 plugin to manage messages through our contact form. The information is send as e-mails to Fant’s internal e-mail addresses, that few have access to. All e-mails are saved in Googles Cloud-service, G suite. Google Cloud adhere to the new European rules for protection and managing of data (General Data Protection Regulation). We don’t determine a fixed time for storage of the information, as we need it for future reference. If you want your information deleted, please contact us at fant@fant.dk.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics for general statistics of website traffic. Google Analytics saves two cookies in the browser, UTMA and UTMB. UMTA gives your computer an individual ID and will delete itself automatically after two years since your latest visit to the website. UTMB gives your visit an individual ID and is automatically deleted 30 minutes after you leaving the site. You are not able to be personally identified through thhe use of these cookies.
